The Legislative and Justice Committee at the Parliament confirmed that the recent weapons seizures are evidence of the presence of bodies and cells aimed at sabotage and security destabilization,  praising the role of the regular forces in maintaining the security of the homeland and citizens.

The head of the committee, Osman Adam Nimer, told the semi-official Sudan Media Center (smc) Thursday, that the country is facing external hostility through the cells that have been arrested, which are supported from abroad.

He pointed out that these cells are planning to create chaos and terrorize citizens, stressing that the main objective of the state of emergency is to maintain security.

Nimer called on the citizens to cooperate with the regular bodies and inform them  about any information that may undermine security to maintain the security and stability of the country.
