The Gold Exporters Division reached an agreement with its Turkish counterpart allowing Sudan to purchase Turkish gold jewelry directly without an intermediary.
The head of the division, Abdul Moneim al-Siddiq, said the division had reached an agreement with Turkey to buy gold jewelry directly instead of buying them from Turkey through mediaters, which would have caused an increase in prices.
Abdul Moneim stressed that the agreement means more cooperation between the two countries, describing it as a breakthrough in the Sudanese gold markets.
He pointed out that the division is now participating in the semi-annual Turkish gold exhibition, in which 20 Sudanese companies are participating, pointing out that the exhibition will introduce the latest manufacturing collections and mutual benefit.
