I didn’t nominate Hamdok as prime minister, says Al-Asam

The leader in the Sudanese Professionals Association (SPA), Mohammed Naji Al-Asam, denied that he had nominated the Economist D. Abdullah Hamdok to be prime minister during the transitional period.
Accordign to (Alintibaha) newspaper, Al-Asam said that Hamdok’s candidacy represents a vision of a number of the components in Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC). “I have not nominated Hamdok as prime minister,” he said.
Abdullah Hamdok, denied earlier; his refusal to work in Sudan, and hinted his readiness to take part, “whenever asked to do so.”
