Closed-door meeting between head of Sudan’s military junta and Çavuşoğlu

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a closed-door meeting in Khartoum on Friday with the head of the transitional military council, Abdul Fattah al-Burhan.
The meeting was held at the presidential palace, as part of a visit by the Turkish minister to attend the final signing ceremony of the ” Constitutional Declaration Document”, Saturday, according to (Anadolu) agency.
After the meeting, in a tweet via his Twitter account, Çavuşoğlu congratulated all sides in Sudan for their common sense in the process of establishing the Transitional Civilian Authority.
Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that Turkey would continue to support the Sudanese Government and people for the stability and the security of Sudan.
He also met with Acting Foreign Minister Omer Dahab Mohamed of Sudan, and congratulated him for the political reconciliation in Sudan.
Finally Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Turkish citizens living in Sudan, and Turkish businessmen at a dinner held at Ankara Embassy in Khartoum.
