Removing Sudan from list of state sponsors of terrorism soon: Mubarak Al-Fadil

Head of the Umma Party, Mubarak Al-Fadil, expected Sudan to be removed from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, before the six-month deadline set by the US administration for the transitional government, in the event of change and remedies.
According to (Assayha) newspaper, Mubarak said that his meetings with some executives in the US administration were promising to reverse its pressure on Sudan.
He disclosed a shift in the US position on Sudan following the recent changes, which necessitated pursuing civil-military cooperation, completing the peace process and democratization.
Mubarak said that the Americans “see that there is nothing to prevent the lifting of sanctions currently on Sudan, on the one hand that the regime has now changed.
