A government official expected the US administration to postpone the decision to remove Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terrorism for a period of time.
According to (Taseti News), this is attributed to the emergence of new requirements for some US circles, have been submitted to the administration of President Donald Trump regarding post-revolutionary Sudan since April 11 after the fall of the former regime.
The presence of the Ba’ath Partym and the Sudanese Communist Party within the government structures is one of the obstacles to removing Sudan from the list of terrorism, especially since the U.S has a dispute with the Baath Party in both Syria and Iraq, in addition to political and intellectual differences with Communism.
