The Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Nasruddin Mufreh, met with Turkey ambassador in Khartoum on Monday, Erfan Naziroglu and they discussed the distinguished Sudanese-Turkish relations and the historical ties between the two countries and ways to push forward and develop these relations, especially in the field of endowments.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador clarified his country’s position on the will of the Sudanese people to achieve their aspirations and pointed to their support for all steps of Sudan’s success in order to progress and prosperity.
On the other hand, the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments received in his office today the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Sudan Bassam Al-Qabandi.
The meeting dealt with relations between Sudan and Kuwait in the field of advocacy cooperation.
The Minister briefed the ambassador on a number of Ministry’s programs and the Ministry intention to consolidate the principle of moderation and reject extremism and pointed out that the Ministry intends these days to train imams and preachers to emphasize the role of preachers in promoting peace and development.
