The member of the transitional sovereign council, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabashi revealed that the Sovereign Council has issued a decision to release 15 out of 31 detainees who are loyal to the former regime (Bashir’s regime) and accused of the recent coup attempt against the Military Council.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has appointed a special envoy to Juba to support peace between the Sudanese factions, Salva Kiir’s envoy to Addis Ababa, Mike Deng said.
