More effort needed to achieve peace in Sudan, says Al Faki

The spokesman for the Sovereign Council, Mohammed al-Faki Suleiman, stressed that the achievement of peace during the transitional period requires more efforts, noting that they have to implement peace agreement before the time set by the constitutional document.

Following receiving a delegation from the Sudanese Revolutionary Front at Khartoum airport, Al-Faki said in a press conference that the presence of members of the Revolutionary Front in Khartoum reaffirms the partnership between the armed movements and the government.

He welcomed the visit of members of the Revolutionary Front to Khartoum, and noted that their visit was a result of discussions in Juba in order to engage in internal talks to arrange the situation before the start of the next round of negotiations.

He called on the members of the Revolutionary Front to look to the difficult situations in Sudan, which requires the cooperation of all, and noted that Sudan is suffering from great economic difficulties prevented him from exploiting its resources.
